Youth2007 Design Team This group of youth and adults has been working on the overall design and plan of Youth2007 since 2005. Selected by a nomination and selection process, these people have gathered from all over the country to plan the largest, most exciting and meaningful youth event in United Methodist history! | Youth2007 Event Staff The event staff "make it happen." They have been entrusted with the grand plans of the Design Team and have been working hard to make those plans a reality for you. Come July 11-15, 2007, to see the magnificent job they have done. Youth2007 Sponsor Youth2007 is sponsored by the Division on Ministries of Young People of The United Methodist General Board of Discipleship (GBOD). This international youth event is held every four years. One of the national agencies of The United Methodist Church, the General Board of Discipleship (GBOD) provides resources (print, video, and electronic), national events, small and large seminars, one-on-one consultations, and more to support local church leaders and their ministries. The General Board of Discipleship offers help in the areas of stewardship, Christian education, youth ministry, adult ministry, older-adult ministry, children's ministry, worship, camping and retreat ministry, lay ministry, spiritual formation, and other areas that touch the life of the local church. The Board's ministries include the work of The Upper Room and Discipleship Resources. The General Board of Discipleship has offices in Nashville, Tennessee.
