Strong Mother God, we gather for worship today, excited that you are pregnant with possibility for us as we seek to respond in faith to be the people you have called us to be. As you have nurtured all creation in the waters of your womb of life, we give thanks that your love nourishes and sustains us. In this time of worship today, God, give birth to the magnificent glory you have prepared. Ready our hearts, minds, and spirits to encounter the majesty of your Holy Spirit anew, that we might be touched by her presence and moved by her power. We pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
