About Us

Welcome to the Young Adult Network! The goal of the network is to help keep young adults connected to each other and to the church in one way or another. Many of the components of the network are guided by the hopes, dreams, visions, goals, thoughts and nitty gritty ideas of the young adults like yourself.

Stay a while because this is a safe place to just BE. Be who you are. Share your thoughts. Express your opinions. Ask questions (no matter how stupid or weird or silly you may think they are). You will not be judged. This is a place where you can vent your frustrations and celebrate your joys. This is a place where you can engage in dialogue with those who are like you and with those who aren't. Talk about life, faith, school, family, sexuality, politics, work, music and anything else you want.

As an online community this space will morph and change based on what you want and need. It may look and feel very different three months from now and three months after that. That's ok! This place will reflect who you are Young adults are always changing and transitioning and so will this network.

Over the upcoming months there will be a section for a contributor to write about whatever topics she/he chooses. In addition, there will be weekly discussion questions that relate back to the topic. A place where hard questions can be asked and answers are optional. I invite you to participate in the discussion boards as this is a place where your voice can be heard. This is YOUR space. Welcome.
