New Day
My God,
It is a new day!
I see the sun shining bright, reminding me of your mighty works.
I am thankful to be alive today.
Friendships
Thank you dear God for the friendships you give us.
Please remind us not to take them for granted.
These friendships are very precious.
As healing ointment, they soothe our hurts and give us hope.
They are a constant reminder that you are a loving and caring God.
Thank you for friendships.
Worry
Dear God,
This morning I woke up worried.
Worry was in my soul, my bones, my very essence.
I worried about food, security, love, children, health, companionship and many other things.
I worried until I got too sad to move.
Thank you for your grace that energized my spirit.
Forgive me for not worrying about the most important thing in my life; that is being in a right relationship with you.
When I am focused on you, all my troubles diminish.
They are washed away by your cleansing love.
I am revived.
Alleluia.
Healing
Only you, my God, can provide total healing, in this chaotic world of worry, hurts and pain.
It is difficult to break the chain that puts us at dis-ease.
Yet in the midst of this cloud of despair and anguish, we see a ray of hope that you provide.
Thank you for your healing power.
I receive it in my own life with humble appreciation.
Amen.
