Bringing together youth from community & churches through sports retreats & meetings organized to create awareness on the dangers of drugs and HIV/AIDS

Leadership Training for Methodist & Contextualized Discipleship - Jesus Reigns UMC, Laguna Philippines — $1,500.00
Finance the creation of discipleship manuals, study guide, & a four-day discipleship training from a UM perspective contextualized in the Filipino context.

Griffin UMC Youth Tutoring Program - Griffin UMC, Starkville, MS — $3,000.00
Computer training designed to increase the graduation rate of youth in the church & community so that the youth can become healthy and productive.

Potosi Pines Camp Leadership Program- University UMC, Las Vegas, NV — $2,000.00
A year-long program to prepare youth to be camp counselors; this program is designed to reach youth in foster care.

Youth Expansion - Project Transformation, Dallas, TX — $2,000.00
An eight week summer program for low income youth, grades 6-9 & their families; it includes team-building training, conflict resolution, book clubs, etc.

Break Free-After School Program for Youth - First UMC Hamburg, Hamburg, AR — $6,000.00
An after-school program for youth, 7th-12th who are at-risk in the Delta area; place where youth can come together and develop relationships with peers & adults.

MIMIC & WOW! Mentoring Programs - Harvest Hands Community Development Corporation, Nashville, TN — $2,000.00
Men in Mentoring & Women in Wisdom are two job training & experience programs offered to teenagers in South Nashville neighborhoods

Joven en Mision (Youth in Mission) - CIEMAL Consejo de Iglesias Evangelicas Metodistas, La Paz, Bolivia — $2,000.00
Leadership training for 200 young Methodist people per year in Latin American and the Caribbean for the mission to go and make disciples

Education on Reproductive Health & Contraception - Kyengera Christian Fellowship Church, Kampala, Uganda — $2,000.00
Sex education class informing young people in Uganda about topics on sexual abstinence, contraception and reproductive health

The Catacombs: Youth Serving Youth Middle School (Year 2) - Catacombs Youth Ministry, inner-city UMC’s, Wichita, KS — $3,000.00
Volunteer-based middle school outreach program; this grant will be spent to purchase equipment for expanding the kitchen & installing water fountains

Vision of Hope Youth Project - Wanyange United Methodist Church, Jinja, Uganda — $1,000.00
Operate a model facility to satisfy the physical, spiritual, psychological & educational needs of the orphaned & vulnerable youth in the community

Street Theatre - Kabuor Theatre Group, Nairobi, Kenya — $5,000.00
Theatre program that focuses on education & support on human rights for children. Uses its performances to educate & motivate people to take action.

Leadership Training and Human Rights Sensitization - SW Solidarity Forum, Accra, Ghana — $2,500.00
