Grants for Ministries with Young People
The division recognizes that young people have vision and dreams for the world. These dreams are realized in the way young people live out their ministries. But sometimes these dreams are more difficult to make a reality because funding is limited. Grants for Ministries with Young People funding are for creative, innovative approaches to ministries for, with, and by young people. The purpose of these grants is to fund dynamic, creative ministries with young people that can serve as model programs for other organizations throughout the connection (Book of Discipline of The United Methodist Church, 2004, ¶1002).

Scholarships
The division currently offers two scholarships for United Methodist students entering their freshman year of college in the United States. At this time the opportunity is only available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents of the United States. We are continuing to seek new ways to help young people outside of the U.S. obtain funding.
The applications for the upcoming academic year are due no later than June 1st. The purpose of these scholarships is to aid United Methodist students who are continuing their self-development through higher education. These awards are for the first year undergraduate study, are non-renewable, and may be up to $1,000 for full-time study.
