Caravan Mission to Tribal Filipinos (The National UM Young Adult and Youth Fellowship of the Philippines ) $5,000

Fifty "Caravan Missionaries", comprised of young leaders from the UM connection and volunteers with medical, academic, agriculture, business and other skilled sectors, will go out to unreached tribal brethren to lead in Bible studies, games, concerts, etc.

Christmas Institute (National Association of Filipino-American United Methodists) $12,000

A Filipino tradition encourages young people to devote the week following Christmas to the making of disciples, and invites them to offer their lives in full-time service as a response, through leadership development, spiritual formation and call to ministry.

Church with Young People ( Germany South Annual Conference) $10,000

The aim is to win young people as disciples of Jesus Christ and support their growing faith. Young people will be involved in a special congregation and develop this congregation to reach out to other young people outside the church through cafés, workshops, etc.

Eastern Poultry Project (Inner City United Methodist Church - Harare , Zimbabwe ) $14,671

The project will be workshops teaching young people how to run poultry projects. The project was created based on the theme of the parable of the talents. The youth will be enriched and empowered spiritually through their involvement.

KSU Wesley Foundation Student Leadership Development ( Kennesaw State University Wesley Foundation - Kennesaw , Georgia , USA ) $6,000

This grant will expand the Wesley Foundation by helping students discover God and grow in their faith, as well as cultivate leaders for continual influence in student life at Kennesaw State University and beyond.

New Page - Youth Focus and Youth Driven (Young Adult Fellowship of the Liberia Annual Conference) $9,600

New Page will host a one day community historical hearing forum. A formal leadership, reconciliation and peace building workshop shall be held in every target community in Liberia after the forum.

Shekina Youth Café (Centro Cristiano Hosanna United Methodist Church - Monroe , North Carolina , USA ) $5,000

Shekina seeks to break the barriers of discrimination and racism in the neighborhood by putting together a youth café as a safe Christian environment where kids from all races and languages will be welcome.

SOAR (United Methodist Relief Center - Mt Pleasant, South Carolina , USA ) $6,000

In it's second year of funding, the program encourages young people to study, observe, create alliances and reflect on the causes and effects of poverty while engaged in home repair.

Spiritual Pathways: Finding your way to God (United Methodist Student Movements of the University of Texas Pan American and South Texas College ) $5,000

The project will empower Student Movement members to lead a prayer-centered life and educate them in various methods of prayer through a series of transforming workshops that will build leadership skills.

The Bishop's Young Adult Initiative ( Denver Area Episcopal Office of the United Methodist Church ) $6,000

With a second year of funding, the program will recruit young people for a year-long experience of putting faith into action through outreach, service, and advocacy; and encourage and model Christian discipleship through living in diverse, intentional community.

Wesley Worship - Sunday Night Worship (Duke Wesley Fellowship - Durham , North Carolina , USA ) $5,000

Students on the Duke University campus will be given the opportunity to resonate with theologically and intellectually engaging worship services on Sunday evenings during the academic year.

Youth & Young Adult Empowerment & Community Development (Central United Methodist Church - Cotabato, Philippines ) $10,000

The project will provide for the training and continuing development of young leaders in the Church; provide skills training and other technical assistance; and, advocate for young people's rights, welfare and development in the Church and local government.

Youth Directors and Youth Leaders Academy (Africa Youth Network - Africa Central Conference) $5,729

A leadership academy for the directors and elected youth leaders in the Africa Central Conference will create a space for the evaluation of ministry and for strategically visioning new, appropriate and prophetic ways of doing ministry with youth in the central conference.
