Friday Night Options

Dining Weather Friday Night Options

The free evening on Friday is your chance to experience Nashville nightlife, shopping, a concert, a movie, or to remain on the Scarritt-Bennett campus. The Friday evening meal will not be served in the dining hall. A list of area restaurants is available here and will be available in your registration packet.

There will also be a list of things to do and see in Nashville. Some may require advance tickets or reservations. Most activities will not be within walking distance, but the Gray Line, cabs, and rental cars are available. Some in our group who have their own vehicles may be willing to share transportation.

If you'd prefer to remain on campus, there are lounges with TVs in the residence halls; and there are social rooms for fellowship, talking, and singing. We will have a time for fellowship and refreshments across the street at the General Board of Discipleship, at 9:00 p.m. As the dates for the retreat get closer, we’ll check into programs and concerts that may be available in the city, area churches, Vanderbilt University, or Belmont University. In past years, people have attended free choral concerts, the symphony, and The Grand Ole Opry.
