The Discipleship Journal has been created as a help for daily Scripture reading, prayer, and creating a record of how you are witnessing to Jesus Christ in the world and following his teachings through acts of compassion, justice, worship, and devotion under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If you are in a Covenant Discipleship group, this journal will be a valuable aid for your weekly accountability. It will also be a tangible reminder for you to be mindful of your covenant between the weekly meetings.

The Discipleship Journal includes: an introduction with suggestions for use, a page to record your group's covenant, a suggested order for daily prayer, a suggested order for a Covenant Discipleship group meeting, and a 58-page journal and daily lectionary. Each page corresponds to a week in the church calendar and includes space to record prayer concerns and a brief quote from the writings of John Wesley. Year B includes selections from "A Plain Account of Christian Perfection," Year C includes selections from the standard sermons. Year A includes selected stanzas from the hymns of Charles Wesley.
