We are developing a new resource for Covenant Discipleship groups, class leaders, and anyone who desires a more disciplined walk with Christ. (Click here for a sample page [in pdf] of the forthcoming Discipleship Journal.) Each page represents a week of the church calendar. There is a daily lectionary that is based upon the Revised Common Lectionary. Two passages of scripture are assigned to each day. We suggest that one be read in the morning and one in the evening. Each week has a psalm and a hymn. There is also a brief quote from John Wesley.

The bottom half of the page is divided into four quadrants. Here you may record your acts of compassion, justice, worship, and devotion for the week. Bring the journal with you to your CD group meeting. This could be a helpful aid for your weekly accountability with your group.
