Marigene Chamberlain is a sometime poet and writer who works at the General Board of Discipleship with Hispanic/Latino ministries. A chance encounter with a United Methodist high school shop teacher inspired this haiku; it is dedicated to him and to other disciples faithfully living out their discipleship at work.
