Sing to the Lord a New Song.
                                Isaiah 42!

Children's Ministry Forum is for children’s ministry leaders in large United Methodist congregations (over 250 in worship*). Bring the members of your children’s ministry team and return home with renewed energy, new skills, fresh understandings and a shared experience. This event is certain to lift your ministry with children to a higher level.

Ready for a New Song! Recreating Your Ministry” calls us to think about our ministries with children and families in a different way. Based on Isaiah 42 and Psalm 96 we will focus on identifying ministry needs, learning new skills and information and preparing to go home revitalized with a plan in hand. Bonus: There will certainly be lots of ideas to take home, including experiences of an Ash Wednesday family friendly worship, Mardi Gras Music City Style and cutting edge workshops.

Attend this conference that overflows with incredible opportunities, including:

  • Experiencing a wonderful host church:
    Calvary UMC
    3701 Hillsboro Pike

  • An evening on your own in Music City USA with opportunities to hear live music, explore shopping heaven at The Mall at Green Hills or enjoy dining with friends.
  • Innovative workshops in seven different time periods with the best leaders
  • Worship to refresh your soul and revive your spirit
  • Settings to network with others
  • A Cokesbury Book Store and other vendors

*Your church is smaller? Come along and join the fun! There is plenty to experience and learn for everyone! Just know that workshops are designed for churches with large facilities, large numbers of children and/or large children’s ministry budget. You will be able to translate learnings to your own situation.
