What Does It Cost?

Provisional Members (Elders & Deacons)
The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry provides funds that allow the pilgrimage to give $1000 scholarships to the first 20 United Methodists who are commissioned by their annual conference for ordination as elders or deacons. To receive the scholarship applicants must instruct the registrar of their conference board of ordained ministry to confirm their status by sending an email to Dr. Steve Manskar. Please note that the scholarship is limited to the first 20 provisional members who register.

• April 30 - June 30: $1,295
• July 1 - Sept. 1: $1,595

Everyone Else

• Before April 29: $1,995
• April 30 - June 30: $2,295
• July 1 - Sept. 1: $2,595

Cost includes ten nights lodging (6 nights at Sarum College in Salisbury, 2 nights at Bawtry Hall in Bawtry (near Epworth), and 2 nights at the Euro Hotel in London), most meals, ground transportation, and all admission fees.

Getting There

You are responsible for your own round-trip airfare to London and ground transportation to Sarum College in Salisbury. This will allow you the flexibility to extend your stay and spend more time in Britain and Europe. Terry Keeling of AWA Travel (612.377.4089) will help you find the airfare to fit your budget.

Ground transportation from London airports to Salisbury will cost from $45-$70. Detailed information on rail and coach transportation to Salisbury will be provided.
