Learn the strategies of ministering to over 500 active youth and their parents in our fast pace technological culture.

Growing Disciples of Christ, who know, love and serve Him is our main mission at Brentwood UMC. Through Sunday school classes, courses, small groups and experiences adults are encouraged to shape their spiritual journey. Discover the "River of Life" which serves as the foundation that drives this process to vital discipleship in this 7500 member congregation.

WS06: Creating a Culture of Generosity
Cliff Christopher
Christian Financial Stewardship must change for the church to be competitive in the 21st century. Cliff will present the premise that the church is losing market share much like General Motors with bankruptcy in our future unless we adopt a completely different approach within our churches.  Cliff is president and founder of Horizons Stewardship Company and author of Not Your Parents Offering Plate.

WS07: Sabbath Economics: Making the Faith-Money-Justice Connection
Mike Little
Money is a paradox in our culture - it enslaves, yet it also frees; it is intensely private, but it is also very public; it measures worth, yet it is no measure of real worth; it destroys yet also creates. Sabbath Economics is a Biblical understanding of God’s economy as a balance between the gift of Divine abundance and the limits that we as humans exercise in relation to that gift. This workshop will introduce the concept of the 7-fold Sabbath economics household practices for seven specific areas of daily life.   Mike is executive director of the Faith & Money Network
