Event Costs:

Participants are responsible for their lodging, meals, and transportation to the hotel. Lunch will be provided on Sunday at the Teaching Church and Monday at Brentwood UMC.

Full Event (Thursday - Monday)

Early bird:        $375 — (May 1st cut-off date)
Regular:          $425 —  (July 1st cut-off date)
Late/Onsite:    $475 —  (till event starts)
Special rate for spouses who register for the event: $200 includes access to the full event

Registration fees are refundable (less a $50 per person administrative fee) through July 1, 2010 and are non-refundable after July 1, 2010.

Transportation Needs:

The School of Congregational Development is within driving distance of 60% of the U.S. Population, as a result we are offering bus transportation at a minimal cost for those who are not providing their own transportation. If you are bringing a friend or spouse with you, be sure to get the number of bus passes you need.

Bus Pass for Teaching Church on Sunday and Brentwood UMC on Monday —  $25.00
(note: buses will go to either the hotel or airport after the Monday afternoon session at Brentwood UMC)

Bus Pass for Teaching Church on Sunday only — $12.50

Bus Pass for Brentwood UMC on Monday only — $12.50

Handicapped accessible transportation will be available for Sunday and Monday

Child Care for children through age 12:

This year we are pleased to offer child-care at the McKendree United Methodist Church on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. McKendree UMC is across the street from the Nashville Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel. Space for children in childcare is limited. Registration for childcare will be processed as it is received.

SCD 2010 is located in the heart of downtown Nashville with easy access to restaurants and music venues that make being in Nashville a great experience.



Sessions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will take place in the Nashville Convention Center, the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, and McKendree UMC (right across the street).

Celebration will take place Sunday Evening in the historic Ryman Auditorium.

Sessions on Monday will take place at Brentwood United Methodist Church which approximately a 30-minute drive from the hotel.
