Road Construction

Daphine L. Strickland

For the 2nd Sunday of Advent Year B
Based on Isaiah 40: 3-4, Mark 1: 1-3

Man, we got to get the road ready!
The Messiah is coming. I must be ready.
I was afraid,
but I remembered that he said in his word that he would come for me.

He also said that his son had come
that I might have life more abundantly.

Well I been praying and waiting.
I am ready.
Praise God
Come, Lord Jesus
for by your grace I am ready

I can see the lightening flashing.
I can hear the thunder roll.
I see Jesus coming.
I am ready to see him.

I see others who are waiting with me.
