- Dress comfortably and appropriately for Dallas in February. The days can be gloriously warm or remind us that winter is still present.
- Bring your Bible, your friends and an expectation of learning and fun.
- Bring your shopping list. Come with extra room in your suitcase. Cokesbury will fill multiple tables with resources and gift items. 15 other vendors will be present to temp your purchasing power.
- On Wednesday afternoon of the event, we will travel via bus to downtown Dallas to the Nasher Sculpture Garden. This is an outdoor garden so please dress appropriately. Following a tour of this outdoor museum, we will walk across the street (about ½ block) to First UMC, Dallas for dinner, a tour of their children’s ministry facilities and an evening of entertainment.
- No child care will be available for Children’s Ministry Forum ’08. The church facilities for young children are used during the week by their excellent weekday children’s ministry.
- 1.4 Continuing Education Units are available for full attendance at this event. CEU certificates may be picked up at the close of the event.
