National Observance of Children’s Sabbath in the United Methodist Church
Children’s Sabbath is the opportunity for churches, synagogues, mosques and temples across the country to celebrate children through special worship services, education programs, and advocacy activities. This is a time to engage people of faith in the lives of children and their families. Although Children’s Sabbath is officially celebrated October 16-19 this year, communities should feel free to celebrate as the calendar allows.
