(NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 14, 2009, GBOD) — The Way of Pilgrimage -- An Adventure in Spiritual Formation video series won a Telly Award for videography/cinematography in the non-broadcast category, winning the Bronze Award.
The videos accompany the "Companions in Christ" print resource for high school youth and early college students. Video clips may be viewed on thewayofpilgrimage.org.
"It was truly a joy to work on this project, and I couldn't be happier with the results," says Cary Graham, who directed the video series. "This award recognizes the hard work and dedication of an entire team of gifted individuals, and it was a privilege to work creatively with each of them."
Ciona Rouse, Kara Oliver, and Sally Chambers served as scriptwriters for the project, while Gemini Production Group did the filming.
"I cannot sing their praises enough," said Graham. "The team created a resource that is both rich in content and visually attractive, and I am extremely pleased that the Telly Awards recognized their commitment to excellence."
The videos feature the music of the popular and award-winning Christian group Tenth Avenue North. Developed and produced as a product of Upper Room Books, the videos may be used as a stand-alone resource.
