GBOD Names New Marketing Staff
Catherine Shell joined The General Board of Discipleship on August 1, 2006, as a marketing manager. Her portfolio will include The Upper Room daily devotional guide and Alive Now.
Catherine is a May graduate of Clemson University (South Carolina) with a B.A. in marketing. She has been active in United Methodist youth work at the local and jurisdictional level as well as participating in campus ministry at Clemson.
Jim McAnally will join the marketing staff on August 8 as the Creative Services Manager. Jim has an extensive background in graphic design as a freelancer and as staff designer for Belmont University. He has a bachelor's degree from Birmingham-Southern and a master of fine arts from Louisiana Tech. The son of a United Methodist minister, Jim knows the church well – from the inside out.
