Evangelism is telling the good news of God's kingdom come in Jesus Christ.
Consequently, we do not "evangelize" anyone other than Christ. Evangelism
is heralding Christ. We may "evangelize" among a group of people, but we
do not evangelize any individual. In other words, we do not convert
anyone. Conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit. Our work is to tell
the good news story.
Faith-sharing is personal evangelism. It is telling your good news of the
great joy which has come into your life in Christ.
Some Principles for Faith-Sharing
- Be clear about your purpose.
- Ground faith-sharing in prayer.
- To do the mission of Christ, one must have the mind of Christ.
- God is more interested in our availability than in our ability.
