Certification in Older Adult Ministries
In addition to the Certificate program in older adult ministries at Wesley Theological Seminary and the Norman T. Allers Academy on Older Adult Ministries sponsored by the Southeast Jurisdiction Association of Older Adults, the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry has recently approved Certification in Older Adult Ministry. Certification is available to laypersons, ordained deacons, ordained elders, and diaconal ministers who desire to improve their skills and exercise leadership responsibility in ministry with older adults.
For more information, contact the certification registrar of your Conference Board of Ordained Ministry or Sharon G. Rubey, Director of Conference Relations, General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, P. O. Box 340007, Nashville, TN 34203-0007; phone: 615-340-7374.
