The mission of the Kay Senior Care Center at Church Street United Methodist Church is to provide a safe and caring environment, which promotes independence, self-esteem, and dignity for memory-impaired seniors — enhancing the quality of life for the participants and their caregivers and supporting and strengthening the entire family.

The Ruth Sheets Adult Day Care Center serves the surrounding communities with an interfaith service sponsored by the Edenton Street United Methodist Church. Our mission is to maintain the dignity of each individual and to offer a safe, caring, and loving environment for each participant. We offer a structured program, including physical activities, mental stimulation, and emotional/spiritual balance. The staff is trained to care for those with Alzheimer type dementia. A support group is offered for caregivers every second and fourth Wednesday.
