The response to the “Fundraising for Outdoor Ministries” course this past spring was so positive that the Outdoor Ministries Committee of the National Council of Churches is offering its #101 Course again. The fall course will be offered September 14-18, 1998, at Epworth-by-the-Sea, St. Simon’s Island, Brunswick, GA. This comprehensive 5-day course will be customized to individual needs and issues. It’s a great course for those new to the field and provides a valuable management perspective for the seasoned professional. It is especially beneficial for board and staff members to attend the course as a team. This intensive course gives you the opportunity to develop and strengthen your fundraising skills with an A-Z overview of strategies and techniques. You’ll understand the interdependency of fundraising methods and how the board, administrators, and staff can interact as a powerful fundraising team. The NCC Outdoor Ministries Committee has negotiated a special rate and subsidizes the cost for each participant; the cost to camp/retreat leaders will be $599.00, which includes lodging and meals.
