Camp Memo
Camp Memo
You’re invited to an awesome celebration of United Methodist Camp/Retreat Ministry. “This Is Our Story” is a perfect theme for the final gathering of U.M. Camp/Retreat Leaders in this century! Encourage all of your staff and key volunteers to attend this premier training and spiritual renewal event sponsored on your behalf by the National Camp/Retreat Committee and General Board of Discipleship. Epworth-by-the-Sea ranks as one of the most beautiful settings ever to host us. And St. Simon’s Island places us in direct contact with our Wesleyan heritage, since John Wesley spent time here while living out his ministry.

We are blessed to have outstanding plenary leaders to help us explore the heart of our ministry and encourage us to discern new opportunities for the future.

Preaching

Vance Ross, one of the denomination’s most dynamic preachers
Heather Murray Elkins, gifted theologian and Academic Associate Dean of Drew University Theological School
