Those of us in United Methodist camp and retreat ministries form a community of friends and colleagues who understand the deep dedication of those who serve in this complex, meaningful Christian ministry. As you read the names of these people, lift them to God with thanksgiving as they move to new journeys of faith. Thanks to all who provided the names of those honored here.
- Ted and Rosalie Hulbert retired from many great years of ministry leading Camp Magruder in Oregon. Ted also served as Development Director for the Oregon-Idaho Conference Camp and Retreat Ministries. Their new address is 1075 Colony Pond Dr., Eugene, OR 97401.
- Gary and Sharon Conover retired in October from leadership of Templed Hills Camp and Retreat Center in Colorado. They also served with Highroad Camp and Retreat Center and Camp Hat Creek in Virginia. The Conovers will be sorely missed as ministers and models for ministry in the Rocky Mountains.

- Art Britt retired after 14 years as Kitchen Manager at Mt. Misery in Southern New Jersey. His team sends gratitude for all his years of service.
- Duane and Muriel Slade are leaving Camp Allegheny in Western Pennsylvania after 21 years of outstanding leadership. "Our time here has been so very rewarding as we have marveled at the work that God has done through this ministry. Thousands have experienced the life-changing experience of knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. This makes all the other responsibilities insignificant. We wish you and the camping and retreat ministry of The United Methodist Church all the blessings that God can heap upon you as you serve the God who loves us."
- David Franck leaves the Prothro Center at Lake Texoma Conference & Retreat Facility following significant times of ministry there. E-mail: ddfranck@swbell.net.
