The mission of United Methodist Camp and Retreat Ministries is to create dynamic environments of Christian hospitality and learning.

These environments and experiences are designed to help people:

• Affirm and expand their faith in God.
• Establish spiritual practices for ongoing Christian discipleship.
• Grow in wisdom and in healthy self-esteem.
• Establish lifestyles of loving interdependence with one another and all God's creation.
• Develop as spiritual leaders.
• Be inspired to engage in efforts that address true need and justice in the world and to support groups endeavoring to work for the common good of all.

In addition to serving United Methodist churches and members, our 230 camps, conference centers, and retreat centers serve other religious groups, educational groups, families, and a great variety of non-profit organizations seeking to better the world. This atmosphere of encouragement and the experiences people have flow from our centers to enrich the whole society.
