Ways you can help
Greeters: You're the smiling face at the end of a long travel day. Help arrivals find their way around the San Jose airport or around the site at Mt. Hermon.
Registration Team: Welcome and check in registrants at the site office.
Campus Guides: Help participants find their way to lodging, dining, and meeting rooms throughout our event. Approximately 20 minutes needed between activities. Mt. Hermon is a gorgeous site with lots of buildings and paths -- help folks find their way! Bring a flashlight (and maybe a friend) for after-dark guiding.
Worship Assistants: Lend a hand to the Worship Team as they prepare for our large-group worship gatherings.
Snack Hosts: Be a part of your jurisdiction's snack time team. Help organize, set up, and clean up. Be creative. (Decorate? Have a theme?) Don't know anyone from your jurisdiction? We can help you connect.
Photographers: Bring your digital camera and help record this delightful event. Great people in a beautiful setting, worship, fun activities, learning, worship, and more. If you're going to be there anyway, snap a few photos and share with the rest of us! We are specially looking for a few people to take photographs during arrival on Friday at the airport and at the site.
Committee Support Team: Who are those mysterious people who stay up all night, run around taking care of details, and pull the strings to make our national event happen? The NCRC still needs a few extra able hands to get it all done. Be part of the mystery. Lend a hand when you have a free hour, day or night. Early riser, night owl, afternoon jitters -- we have a job or errand for you.
Venue Wrap-Up: We're camp people. When we make a mess, we clean it up, and leave every place better than we found it. If you're not leaving immediately after our final session, spend a few hours helping with tear-down. Many hands make light work.
Children's Program Assistants:
Storyteller? Puppeteer? Craft Leader? Game Leader? Share those well-honed camp skills for an hour or so. Help delight our littlest participants!
Activity Chaperone: Just be a responsible adult presence to assure our children's safety. Just show up -- no planning or special skills needed.
Baby and/or Toddler Care: Need a break from adult conversation? Bliss out in the baby room, share your care, and help delight a few camp leader parents.
Babysitter for Wednesday night Wiggle Space: Bob Ditter, our Wednesday keynote, is lots of fun, but even our best kids sometimes need room to wiggle. Help make this evening hour delightful for them.
