Preventing "Nature Deficit Disorder"
Leader: Lisa Jean Hoefner

Richard Louv's book, The Last Child in the Woods, draws attention to what many of us know intuitively: a child's experience with nature matters immensely to his/her development, spirituality, and overall well-being. How can we preserve times to "play in the woods" and articulate the power of our program choices as Christian camp and retreat ministries to parents and churches?

Grant Writing

Programs and participation can grow substantially if we reach out in new ways.
