 Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering to enhance the 2007 National United Methodist Camp and Retreat Gathering. There are many volunteer possibilities, and some of those are outlined below. Look over the options below, and let us know what areas match your gifts and interests for volunteering. Important Ways You Can Help!
Greeters: Greet/assist at the airport as people are arriving. Greeters need to arrive by 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
Registration Team: Check in participants at the event registration table on Friday.
Newsletter: Gather information for the daily newsletter; help with creation and distribution.
Seminars/Workshops Set-up: Assist the Leadership Committee to ready the seminar and workshop rooms prior to the sessions.
Worship Assistants: Assist the worship team in preparations for plenary and worship times.
Wiggle Space Coordinator: Create a "wiggle space" for children in the auditorium. This requires set-up by 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ensure clean-up following each use.
Snack Hosts: Sign up for a specific morning/evening time and host a snack time.
Photographers: Bring your digital cameras and help record the activities during the event. We also really need a few folks to photograph people during participant arrivals on Friday.
